Gautam Buddha Park (commonly known as Buddha Park), is a mid-size park, situated just beside the Hathi Park on the other side of Daliganj Railway Bridge. It is more preferred by the visitor over it neighbour because it has boat paddling and electrical power swings. Similar like Hathi Park, Buddha Park justifies its name by having Lord Buddha statue in it.
Paddle boating in Lucknow available only at two places. Other one is in Lucknow Zoo. One can enjoy paddle boating in Gautam Buddha Park in an artificial 4 X 200-meter loop canal. Three bridges provide the passage over the canal. There are two mountain shape artificial bumps along with plan area covered with lust green grass make the park good place to enjoy with friends, family or with kids. Evening time in summer and daytime in winter is good for visit.
Gautam Buddha Park is the only place in Lucknow city where one can enjoy electrical power swings riding around the year. Few swings are for children below the age of 12, but on others any one can take a ride.
