Laxman Park (Lakshman Park) located in very prime location in Hazratganj, the heart of city. It is surrounded by Lucknow Stadium on the north, Parivartan Chowk and Begam Hazrat Mahal Park on west, Gemini Continental Hotel, Press Club on south and DM Beglow and Hazratganj on the east side. By name Laxman park is closely related with Lucknow as the name of Lucknow is originated from Laxmanpuri. A statue of Laxman, a brother of Lord Ram, is in this park.
The park is maintained by the LDA (Lucknow Development Authority). Lot of greenery, trees with good shade and a big fountain make the place good for day or evening picnic, jogging, or relaxing for short time. The size of park is not big, but it is not crowded as Hathi or Buddha Park.
