Polytechnic admission process begins

Entrance examination of polytechnic starts from today, forms will be filled online. Secretary of the Joint Entrance Examination Council, SK Vaishya, inform that the applications for entrance examination for admission to various Engineering Diploma, Management and Post Diploma courses for the session 2020-21 will be available online from 01 January 2020, candidates can apply online through the website jeecup.nic.in.

 

Polytechnic Entrance Examination Forms

Application fee for the general category candidates will be Rs 300 and Rs 200 for the scheduled castes and tribes. Examination fees can also be deposited through online options. From January 1 to March 16, candidates can apply online. On April 26, Group 'A' and 'E' exam will be offline. The exam for other groups will be online on April 27.

 

Polytechnic Examination Schedule - 2020

  • Group A - 26 April 2020 (09.00 AM to 12.00 AM) in all districts of Uttar Pradesh
  • Group E - 26 April 2020 (02.30 to 05.30 pm) in all districts of Uttar Pradesh
  • Group-B, C, D, F, G, H, I - 27 April 2020 (09.00 am to 12.00 am) Online Examination in major districts of the state (variable)
  • Group-K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7, K8 - 27 April 2020 (from 02.30 to 05.30 pm) Online Examination in major districts of the state (variable) 

Based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination, merit will be prepared and allotment of 67 course seats will be allotted in 1296 institutions through online counselling. Every year around five lakh candidates appear for the exam.

 

Special back-paper exam from January 3, 2020

The special back paper exam cancelled by the Technical Education Council will now be held from January 3. SK Singh, Secretary, Technical Education Council, said that the exams of both shifts were postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The schedule of cancelled examinations has been announced from 20 to 26 December. The cancelled back paper examinations to be held on December 20, 21, 23, 24 and 26 will be held on January 3, four, six, seven and eight respectively. Candidates can contact the Principal of the institution for more information.
