How to Play
The goal of Go Fish is to collect the most "books," which are sets of four cards of the same rank (e.g., four 7s). You will play against a computer opponent. The game ends when all 13 books have been made or the deck is empty and players are out of cards.
Game Rules
- The game starts with each player receiving 7 cards from a standard 52-card deck.
- During your turn, you must ask the opponent for a specific card rank (e.g., "Do you have any Kings?"). You can only ask for a rank that you already have in your hand.
- To ask for a card, simply click on one of your cards in your hand. The game will automatically ask the opponent for that card's rank.
- If the opponent has any cards of that rank, they must give them all to you. You then get to take another turn.
- If the opponent does not have any cards of that rank, they will say "Go Fish!" and you must draw a card from the deck.
- If the card you draw from the deck is the same rank you asked for, you get another turn. Otherwise, your turn ends and it becomes the opponent's turn.
- Whenever you collect four cards of the same rank, you form a "book." These cards are moved to your books pile and count towards your final score.
- The game continues until all cards from the deck and players' hands are used. The player with the most books at the end of the game wins!
